BOOK DESCRIPTION:

Noel travels the world for work, only coming home for the holiday season. With so little time spent in one place, relationships are a no-go.

Dean, a firefighter with a serious disdain for the holiday season, is sent to Mistletoe, a small town that lives and breathes Christmas. To keep his holiday exposure to a minimum, Dean avoids relationships from November through January.

Will two people who are so adamant about being single be able to ignore the feelings that are heating up their Christmas season?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Growing up, Adrianne couldn't get her hands on enough books to satisfy her need for the make believe. If she finished a novel and didn't have a new one ready and waiting for her, she began to create her own tales of magic and wonder. Now, as an adult, books still make up majority of her free time, and now her tales get written down to be shared with the world.

During the day, Adrianne uses her camera to capture life's stories for clients of all ages and at night, after her two children are tucked in bed; she devotes herself to her written work. Adrianne is living the life she always wanted, surrounded by art and beauty, the written word and a loving family.

As a young adult and new adult author, Adrianne James has plans to bring stories of growing characters, a little romance, and perhaps a little magic and mythology down the line for her readers to enjoy.

REVIEW & RATING: 3/5

A White Hot Christmas is a story about 2 people who are adamant about not wanting any type of emotional relationship and end up sharing a passionate one night stand that changes everything.

The first 5 chapters was just building up to a climax of things developing between the two characters when, in the sixth and final chapter I was very disappointed to find the whole story line abruptly cut way too short and too early. It didn't make any sense to me why it was cut so abruptly like that as it would make for an excellent read if there was more to it then there was.
I truly believe it has a lot of potential.

I was going to give it a two star rating but that would mean I didn't like it, but I did like it, it was a beginning of something good if it wasn't like reading an unfinished book.

BOOK DESCRIPTION:

Sometimes fate needs a little hand...

Santa Claus is going to have a rough season... Lauren Alexander is raising her daughter alone. Abandoned by her family for her decision to keep her daughter Kristen, she has done a pretty good job for the last six years. Or she thought she had. That's why she is crushed when little Kristen gives up her wish for a toy or goodie and instead asks Santa for a present for her mother. She wants Santa to bring a Daddy. Delivering Daddies isn't Santa's bag.

But this Santa has a plan...

Kyle Preston knows what it is like to be abandoned too. Luckily he found the support of loving adoptive parents and has turned himself into one of the most successful Real Estate developers in town.

Building a house is easy. Building someone's trust is a whole other story. But with a little helping hand, a little Christmas magic can make all the difference in the world.

EXCERPT:
"You don't have to be afraid. This will explain it all. I promise you." He smiled warmly and Lauren wanted to trust him if only to believe in simple kindness.

With shaking hands, she took the piece of paper, warm from being in the pocket close to Kyle's body. She held it up straight so that she could see Kyle while reading the words on the paper.

"Dear Santa..." she read out loud, then read the next part silently. "Oh, no," she groaned.

"I know. That's just how I felt."

Lauren shot him a skeptical glance. "How did you get this?"

"Kristen gave it to me."

"That's impossible. Mrs. Hopkins just helped her with it this afternoon and-"
"And she gave it to me in the Mall," Kyle finished for her.

She looked at him quizzically, still trying to comprehend the course of events leading up to his seizure of her daughter's precious note.

"It's not that hard to figure out, Lauren," Kyle said warmly.

His dark eyes gleamed with the light from the lamppost. He wore no hat to protect his head from the falling snow. Now his hair was filled with powdered flakes, matting it down.

His grin was bright and wide as he informed her, "I'm Santa Claus."

Fate with a Helping Hand Series includes:

Book 1
ALL I WANT FOR CHRISTMAS IS YOU
Book 2 THE MARRIAGE CONTRACT
Book 3 THE KNIGHT AND MAGGIE'S BABY

 ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Lisa Mondello (a.k.a. LA Mondello) has held many jobs in her life but being a published author is the last job she'll ever have. She's not retiring! She blames the creation of the personal computer for her leap into writing novels. Otherwise, she'd still be penning stories with paper and pen. Her first book, All I Want for Christmas is You, was the winner of the Golden Quill contest for Best First Book and to date has had over 750,000 downloads worldwide.

She is currently the author of 15 novels under the name Lisa Mondello and LA Mondello.

REVIEW & RATING: 5/5
All I want for Christmas is a beautiful heartfelt love story, it focuses on the two main characters Kyle Preston & Lauren Alexander whom both have had a trouble past, him as a teenage rebel and her with a loss love that leaves her unable to love and trust again until that one fateful day!

They both meet by chance at a mall when Lauren takes her little girl Kristen to visit Santa, Kristin gives Santa her letter and to his surprise the only one wish on that letter was that Santa will get her a daddy for her mommy for Christmas. That's when the real meaning of Christmas wishes and dreams do come true for these wonderful characters.

I won't go into anymore detail as to not spoil it, but all i will say for those who love a good romance then this is definately a must read!
